RE: Minnesota Hunters Sue Scent Lok

There are as many claims it does work as there are it doesn't. The claims that it doesn't work are mainly limited to those who have had what they feel as a bad experience, the remainder who haven't used it simply add fuel to the fire.

I've been using it since it came out. I like the product and I personally feels it works to a degree.
Enough of a degree that I will continue to use it. The slob hunters that refuse to follow a scent reduction regimine are the biggest nay-sayers. If you fail to follow some simple guidelines when using "any" product that carries a claim of high expectation, you should realize if you don't follow the guidelines the product more than likely will not yield what the product claim advertises.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, flame me because I spent money that you personally wouldn't have.

So, because you prefer not to use/buy it, no one should because for some inept reason, proof needs to be shown to you before you would give your "personal endorsement".

Self-proclaimed consumer advocates are around every corner and those opinions are like headaches...eventually they'll go away.

I lump all of those people in the same category as an extremist group like PETA.

Sorry....that's MY opinion.

Flame away if you feel it will amount to more than a hill of beans.

Well I use it and not to the best of its ability some times, but can you really blame that on the company, thats whats wrong with this country in the first place we all want toblame someone else for our failures. I don't believe scentloc works every time on every deer but if it puts a few more deer in range per hunting season wich I believe it does it's well worth the cost.

that bs slogan of theirs."forget the wind just hunt" give me a break.
That slogan belongs to SCENT BLOCKER....not Scent-Lok

It seems to work for me, however,I don't get sucked into all the hype either. I wouldn't dream of just throwing on some scent-lok and hunting. I still shower to reduce odor and I pay attention to the wind as well. I feel that it helps to a degree and I'll continue to use it.

This TR guy has a grudge against SL. He is the same guy that tried to have SL bribehim to keep quiet. When they did not do so he played the "I was just trying to show what type company they are"card[:'(]

TR is a joke, he is not sueing for hunters. He is suing for himself and his personel Grudge. Please MR. TR keep this hunter out of it. I think there are more important things to worry about.

While in KY I met a soldier who was getting his hunting in, he is on his way back for his 3rd tour in Iraq.

Its like the guy said this is going to be a perfect opportunity to finally prove themselves once and for all. And if they do thats great im happy for them. I dont use the stuff....way outa my budget but tahts not the reason anyway, just mho, BUT if it is a lie, scam, fraud, whatever then why should they be aloud to keep taking Americans hard earned money?? Im not sayin sueing the right way to goand those guys are really going to hands full. But like i said if Scent-Lok really works then they should have no problem with it and this should set everyone straight once and for all.

Exactly what you should do. And I do these things as well.

Qoute from the news article:
"The suit doesn't cite any independent testing done on the clothing that shows it doesn't work."

Maybe we'll get some!!!
