Really??............give us some examples.

cover scents, attractants, calls, the list goes on. if someone really wanted to, they could hire some weasel to find a way to take a cheap shot at any company.

A hard working man with any sense or respect at all knows that nothing in the hunting industry is guaranteed 100%.I have a sneaking suspicion that these guys from minnesota have neither of these qualities.

are you a lawyer?

Everyone should sue Ford if their new same model can't tow 10,000 lbs up an incline as on tv.

Anyone who buys a new bow model setup exactly the same as in an ad should sue the company if their bow doesn't reach the advertised IBO speed.

If your string loop breaks and pops you in the nose, sue the person(even yourself) who tied it and/or the maker of the loop material.

If you miss a world class buck sue the bow, arrow, sight, release, broadhead, stabilizer, clothing, scent lure, and tree stand manufacturers because they cost you money Cabelas or Bass Pro would have offered. If you wear glasses sue the optometrist(sp) as well. This should be done especiallyif you are a "professional" archer.

Here is someone I recognize from some previous posts on this web site. This was copied from the article.

And a Minnesotan -- T.R. Michels, 57, of Burnsville, an outdoor writer, author, hunting guide and frequent hunting seminar speaker who has his own website (www.trmichels.com) -- acknowledges he is responsible for raising much of the stink.
"Hunters have been screwed," he said. "They have been misled. And they [companies] are making tons of money off the stuff."
He said he has no ax to grind and began looking at the clothing because his job as a writer and outdoor expert is to "look into myths and dispell them."
Said Michels: "I was lied to, and that really ticked me off."
He is not involved in the lawsuit, and won't be because, while he has used Scent-Lok clothing, he's never purchased it, he said. However, Michels has questioned the performance of the clothing with the U.S. Patent Office and has posted numerous exchanges he's had with the company on his website and others.
Some how I knew this guy was involved. Well maybe this will be his "last stand".

They have made millions off a lie.Why not sue them if you spend your money and the product turns out to be lemon. All i can say is it is about time I hope they put scent-lok out of business.I never have bought their product because I never did buy what they where claiming, but some people really believe what they see on tv and print. It is just like all those miricle diet pills out there that claim anyone can lose weight simply by taking a pill,if that was the case there would'nt be a fat person in the world.maybe a lawsuit won over a company like scent-lok then companies would be made to stop the false advertising for the sack of making a buck.

it seems that this thread is going to turn into the classic "scentlok bashing thread" instead of focusing on the fact that this is about morals and personal character.

so spooker if you sue someone you have no morals, but a company can make false claims about a product and that is not immoral, and if someone does'nt stand up to them they will continue untill to do so.I don't think so.I hope those guys winn their suit and make an example out of them so other companies will think twice before making false claims for the sake of a buck.

I see that you have a lot of experience with scentlok and their "false claims"

That's because I have learned the hard way not to believe what everyone is trying to sell you, come on do you believe that bs slogan of theirs."forget the wind just hunt" give me a break.that's like biologic is scientifctly proven to attract deer.yea it may attract deer but proven by science? yea right.Just because I don't buy into all these marketing ploys does'nt mean others arn't.

you sure are quick to take up sides on something you haven't personally used.I was skeptical myself at first, but I've had nothing but good experiences w/ scentlok, to a reasonable extent. this is a fight that will never be won by these minnesota characters anyways. It's just a shame that our legal system will even waste it's resources and time on something so foolish. you won't believe this. i just had to go to my truck in the rain and i got wet. i think i'll sue the maker of my rain jacket tomorrow.
