Scent Free Maniac

How many of you go through the process of getting your clothes ready for the season like this.....? About two weeks ago I took all of my clothes out of the bin and began the scent free wash. I ran the cycle five times with the lid up so it wouldnt let the water outand let the clothes sit over night in the soap water libation. When I got up to go to work I put the clothes back on the cycle and let them sit until I got home. WHen I got home I let the cycle complete and hung the clothes outside. THey have been outside for about two weeks gathering the scent of the air. I brought them back in today. I cleaned the bin by letting the scent free soap sit in the bin for a day. I sprayed the bin down with earth scent along with the clothes and finally put the clothes in the bin. I go through this process every year and it seems to work. Now when I go out I will wash the clothes again after every two days and repeat the cycle......Do any of you go to such extreme measures to ensure your clothes have the right smell? I forgot to mention I place leaves, acorns, sticks, and whatever else I can find to put in the bin with the clothes to keep the smell just right! Am I a freak........

I keep my hunting clothes in tubs with fresh earth scented wafers all year long in the covered bed of my truck. During the hunting season, if I need to launder them, I wash them in the scent-free hunting soap and return them to the tubs until I wear them again. I have several sets of camo so at least one set is always in the scent tubs. Seems to work OK for me.

I use the scent free laundry soap and dryer sheets and all, but honestly early in the season when it is so hot, the wind direction makes more difference than anything. It doesn't matter how much you do, if you're sweating and the deer get down wind, they will smell you.

Hunters Specialties scent free wash...dry em in the dryer...let them air out outside...into my scent bag....then into my clear plastic tote.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the "fresh earth." That's just me though. Sometimes I'll snap a cedar/pine twig and rub it on me or just hang it in the stand with me.
