Where would you put your pin to make the shot? 30 yard shot on this one. Put a red spot for ground and a green spot for treestand.

PS I know its at night,

LOL, I don't know how.[&:]

Of course I'd wait til she stopped. I'd place my pin right behind her shoulder at the top of her heart, slightly up from treestand depending on how nervous she was. I'd still put the pin at the top of her heart.

30 yds at a doe, I’d probably not even bother shooting. Depends on my mood and how many I’ve gotten so far that year. I’d have to gap her as I don’t have a 30 yd pin. But it works out pretty well that my pins space to almost exactly the height of a deer’s chest for a 30 yd shot. Holding like that I would hit about 1/3 of the way up the deer.

It depends on how high your treestand is.

My green dot would be where farmcountry's red one is and my red just below that. You cannot hit them too low as long is it is above the sternum, but you can definitely hit them too high.

Amen, I think that is one of the most mis-understood fact in shooting a deer.

The above is now Gospel

From the camera's angle, you don't need to put a dot on this deer because it's already got a nearly perfect dot on it. Follow the off side front leg straight up and look just behind the shoulder. See that light spot? I'd aim right at the top edge of that spot.
