AWSOME that has got to be a good feeling ...remember to take care of your landowner!!
Oh I plan to. All the jerky or fresh venison he wants. In fact, I already brought him a craftsman screwdriver set and his wife some yankee candle stuff as a small token of my appreciation for granting me permission. I know it aint much but I didn't want to arrive empty handed.

You give him the time of day all the time at work...
I'd say there's no need to be humbled...
Sounds like a just reward...
You may very well be correct. However, a man must always remain humble in order that he receive any real respect. Not that he needs it but how do you think Clay got mine? There is respect for someone as a business man and then there's a greater respect for him as a man.

Sounds like you got yourself into a pretty good deal. wonder if the owner of my company has any land

sounds like you are on the right track with some gifts showing youor appreciation. i think my landowner is going to get a big bottle of E&J. i guess that is his choice of drink [:'(] to each his own

Sounds great and you can tell him all the trespassers you run off cause I'm betting if he's rarely there, the trespassers are. Good luck
Rob, here in PA you'd be right, hopefully it's a different story here. Estates are great properties to get in on if you can. There is some good bucks there, and usually the land is not as pressured. One of my buddies has a honey hole that is on 2 different estate properties, and there are some good bucks there.

Hmmmm, looks like he his trying to save some money by having you hunt there. Translation, he and the wife don't like deer eating their flowers and shrubs! Now he doesn't have to spend more money to replace the ones that get chewed up! LOL Good luck to you! Those bucks grow big in some of those little spots!

I know alot of "wealthy folks" and more often than not they are genuinely nice people.

In my experience most people mistake celebrity behavior for wealty people behavior.

Celebrities for the most part behave badly, while non famous wealthy people behave the opposite.

Good luck in your hunting.
