Default Broadheads

This is why the grim reapers are the best mech. broadheads... I watched the video it is awesome! They shot the broadheads through a 55 gallon steel drum.. The grim reaper wasnt effected at all... On the rage all 3 blades broke off clean... they shoot at 60degree angles into plywood... also i know a guy that tried it himself and there were no problems at all... It is a great video to watch if you can... rage are overrated like I said before in a post... if your going to shoot a rage shoot the 2 blade over the 3 blade but consider grim reaper first.

Nice. I Think you and me will like them.. I haven't shot any deer with them yet this will be my first year using them. The guy I know just shot the Maine bow state record female bearwiththem and shot like 42 deer with them. THe bear didn't go more than 15 yards with a 60 lb pearson z-34 bow. Last year he also shot a doe that was facing pretty much away from him and it went completelythrew 9 ribs out the front brisket and 6 inches into the ground with a 60lb pearson bow. The results are impressive. good luck and watch 'em drop!

I think thats awesome if you are hunting 55 gallon steel drums and plywood at 60 degree angles.

Its good that they test things like this, but they just don't have any relationship to hunting applications... save opening on an angle.

Our own 5 shot rates broadheads on http://www.broadheadtests.com/ and I trust him. Years ago when Rocky Mountain Snypers came out I was sorta anti mechanical....well in my defense they came a long way since then. Anyway, on 5 shots recommendation I tried the RM Snyper because he ranked them right up there even with Muzzy 3 Blade and since I shot Muzzys for more than 10 years.....I tried them with amazing results. Don't know how he rated the ones in question of the thread however, they can't rate better than Muzzy imo...so...

If RM Snypers are out, I'll consider the GR.

I still have some, but 125 grainis the heaviest they come in... I going with 220 grain Muzzy Phanoms this year with an FOC around 20 %.

If I had to use a mech, it would be the grim reaper. I've put them though some serious test. They will hold up to everything, but a brick..
