I get 5 weeks vacation a year and 13 sick days, which we are encouraged not to use. i take very little time of until hunting season so I basically can take whenever I want,(as long as the wife is happy.)

Just got a new job that will allow much more hunting...
Hopefully this year they continue our 9/80 work week into fall which would give me every other friday off... (we normally do it from may-sept) So thats giving me one extra day so far... we should be hearing soon if it continues..
But my boss is real flexible and I can come in at 6am and leave at 2, a day or two during the week so that will give me plenty of evening hunts...

It's just the wife and I and she knew when we met that I was passionate about bowhunting and she's never questioned it. I told her when it comes to October/Nov that I was in the woods every daylight hour that I was not at work. She's fine with that. She owns her own business, a hair salon (sometimes I wonder if that wasn't the right business for me to go into to), anyway, she books herself extra hours etc...
My work affords me 4 weeks vacation now plus 4 days and I usually have 2 weeks saved when it comes to archery season.
I get off work at 4:30 weekdays and can be descented and in a tree by 5:00 before the time change and have had tremendous success doing this.
There usually isn't a day in Oct/Nov except Sundays off course that I'm not in a tree.

I work 50 to 60 hours a week up tillhunting season then the overtime stops. That way i made more than my share of money and the wife does not complain about money!

I don't get any allotted time off, I just tell my boss I'll be gone for a week or so to hunt or I take a voluntary lay-off. I also pick and sell blackberries all summer for extra hunting money. This year I picked 167 gallons of berries and sold them for 10 dollars a gallon. Not bad for a side gig.

I work 3 12 hour days in a row. I go to work thursday night at 7pm and get off friday morning at 7am. I do this for friday and saturday night to. I'm off work from Sunday at 7am till thursday at 7pm. I usually hunt on mondays am and pm and 1 other morning during the middle of the week. I get 4 weeks vacation to and all I need to do is fill out the request and that is it. I'll probably take 1 or 2 days just for hunting. My only obstacle is working around my son and wifes schedule. I love hunting in the middle of the week to. Thats the best time for public land hunters like my self.
