I don't get any allotted time off, I just tell my boss I'll be gone for a week or so to hunt or I take a voluntary lay-off. I also pick and sell blackberries all summer for extra hunting money. This year I picked 167 gallons of berries and sold them for 10 dollars a gallon. Not bad for a side gig.
