MATTHEWS LEGACY ?
I am looing very hard at a Matthews Legacy. I have been shooting a Hoyt Cyber-tec and just couldnt get used to that small grip. I've got to get busy to be ready for a Montana elk hunt in September. I have got plenty of time, but I want to be completely familiar with my new bow by then. Any input on the Legacy would be appreciated.

hotload,
The new 2003 Mathews bows will be unveiled in two weeks.
Wait until then before buying that Legacy.
They might have improved them or bring out something you like better.

I have only good things to say about mine. Very quite and smooth. Not exactly a speed demon, but very forgiving and accurate. The only thing I dont like about mine is that it is a little short for my liking, 34 inches. I would suggest also looking into the Mathews Icon(37 inches) and the Mathews Conquest II (I think it is around 41 inches). Either way, you can't go wrong with Mathews.

RE: MATTHEWS LEGACY ?
Thanks guys, We have a Matthews dealer close to my home here in N. Georgia, and they said I should wait until after some Bow Show that is Jan. 17th. I think I will just to see what Matthews will come out with. Does anybody have any ideas what that might be ? If they was to come out with something a little faster that is as forgiving as the Legacy that would be nice. I have looked at the Icon, But that might be a little long for the tight treestand hunting in the mountains here at home.Dont get me wrong, speed is not the most important thing to me. I want a bow that is pretty forgiving, and that has that just right feel to me. But, a little speed would be nice.
