Default My Archery Pack Modification

Well I have been on the hunt for the perfect archery pack for me. I have way too many I have bought through the years but there was always something I didn't like about them. Well I think I have come closest I have gotten so far. I took a fieldline pack I picked up last year that has a hydration system in it and attached and old removeable bow mounted quiver to it and added another pouch I keep my rangefiner in and I think I am very close to having my dream daypack for hunting. There are still some things I don't like about it but Im very close now. One thing I've always wanted was to have a quiver mounted right to my pack kind of like the Catquivers, But I just wasn't crazy about the cat quivers. And no one seemed to make one like that. Well here is what I came up with. Let me know what you think.

well if you know how to sow you can just like sow the quiver onto it by sowing it oto the bag then around the quiver. and then you can take your arrows out when ever you want. or super glue it
lol nah dont do that.

it looks good the way it is, but why dont you like your quiver on your bow?

I never have liked a quiver on my bow, its just one other thing to rattle, and I just don't like the added weight to the right side of my bow. Its just my personal preference.

I actually ran screws through the quiver and the fabric of the pack and used mounting blocks on the inside to screw into. It is on there very sturdy and won't pull out of the fabric. I tested it. I can grab the pack by the quiver and shake it all around and nothing is coming loose. I did see there is a company making a pack like this, but being strapped for cash I decided to go my own route. But someday I plan on having one custom made for me in Enigma Camo. That way I can have my dream pack. I've already discussed this with the owner of Bison Gear, and he had some great ideas for me.

Just bought another from MethodsUSA. $12 bucks plus shipping. Better than any Cabela's sells in quality and you can't beat the price. They are a roof top carrier company. Highly reccomend them! This one is 3000 cu.in. with aluminum reinforcement. Have a 2300 and a fanny.

Looks good to me. If it works for you and you like it, why care what we think. I'd say that's probably how the best hunting equiptment is developed. You're not the only one who has that problem. But you're probably one of the few who's come up with a reasonable solution. Way to go.

By the way, I hate having my quiver on my bow as well. I rigged up something on my pack that looked like crap and worked about the same. When will you start taking orders??????

Trust me thethought has crossed my mind to start making these things and selling them. I'll add it to my list of million dollar ideas. LOL

You see last year I did something similar but I just lashed it to the pack. It worked decently but it blocked access to some of the pouches, or made them difficult to get in to. So I started to look into a better way of doing it. And this is what I came up with.
