i have always used fanny packs over backpacks forever and without a doubt the best one i've tried so far is the badlands monster fanny pack. great support, adjustable, plenty plenty of room and multiple compartments, back support comfortable...GREAT

Yep, I just got a Kodiak delivered from Sprotsman Guide a couple days ago that has 2 large stacked compartments with nice shoulder straps for 29 bucks. Will work perfect for gear in the bottom part and carrying scent clothing in the top to be put on when up in the treestand. Can't wait to give it a good workout!!!!! Won't be long now.....

The most important question is, how much do you want to spend?
