this will be my first year bow hunting. I have hunted a few years rifle season but never this early in the year. What do you guys suggest as far as urine scents or grunt calls, bleats or you tell me please. thanks in advance for all your help.

What are your goals and how "early" is your season. If your season is like most , in the Sept-Oct. window, I wouldn't mess much with urine scents. If your just after meat, I'd suggest using a fawn in distress call and sucker a doe in. If after a buck, focus on trails between bedding and food/water, but try to get close to the bedding area to catch them on their feet before darkness falls. Don't be afraid to use a decoy either, deer are very curious of "strangers" this time of year.

thanks for the quick reply. I am hunting mostly for meat to put in the freezer but if a good buck walks out who knows.
