Default No Rope Drop Away Rests

Are there any drop away rests out there that do not require a rope or pull cord that anyone would recommend? The cord broke on the last drop away I had (Rip Cord) and I have stayed away from them since. But, one without a cord would intrigue me.

Muzzy Zero Effect is the ticket for you. it works by using a arm connected to the cable slide. Greg/MO wrote a VERY detailed report on them a couple months ago and he says only good things about it. and he definately knows his sh**.

look em up, at muzzy.com

I'll second the Muzzy Zero Effect. I'll be hunting my second season with mine on the Bowtech. Its a darn quiet rest too.

There is one called the trap door, and i beleive it is by Montana Black Gold but i am not sure. It works great but you have to manually put it in the upright position before you draw. i shot it on a Trykon once and was pleased.

good luck

Hey Greg/MO!! I sincerely appreicated your response. The information was more than I could have hoped for. It was clear, concise, and to the point. The pictures with detailed explanations were probably the coup-do-grace. I have ordered a 600 PC for my new Guardian and can't wait to get it installed. Thanks again and Good Luck on your upcoming Elk Hunt.
