I think if you keep doing the same thing year after year you would lose interest in the sport.

I do the same thing year to year just better by practicing and putting more into the different aspects of hunting thatI either did not know about or didint fully understand when I first started. But the bottom line is the feeling you get when you out smarting that ol buck and getting a shotat him knowing thatitwas morethan luck that got me that thrill.

My life has changed almost from year to year so much and for so long that I don't know what I will be doing in a year....much less hunting. I plan to hunt each year but life happens and prevents me from it. Sometimes it is due to finances other times it boils down to not having the time to scout or hunt. We've moved and moved and that puts a damper on hunting as well. I'm planning on hunting this year but it is too early to tell.

As far as hunting goes I pretty much do the same. I've hooked up with another hunter so hopefully I will be able to get an elk, deer and a bear this year. So I guess my hunting year will be different since I usually hunt alone. So again...change.....

I'll let you know in January...

Every year I learn more about being a better Hunter so it really doesn't get boring and each day of hunting is a whole new experience with different situations happening all the time.I still want to shoot a Turkey with my Bow and hunt on some different property so it can only get better!

IMHO Jeff, I think the amount of deer you see per hunt really desensitizes (sp?) you, as far as hunting goes. Makes it seem too easy, you can really see it when you talk about the number of does you want to kill this year. 8 is more than I've taken in my hunting career, I've only been hunting 5years, this will be my 6th.
