Stingers 2 or 4 blade?

Stingers 2 or 4 blade?
Just wanted some input and whether I should get 2 or 4 bladed magnus stingers. Not exactly shooting a high KE setup. 25" drawlength @ 50lbs. I'm leaning towards twoblades. If I don't get two holes with our fat, Ohio corn fed deer more often than not I won't have a bloodtrail, either. My last compound kill was exactly that-0 bloodtrail but luckily I heard him fall and was able to pinpoint his location. I don't like being in that situation if I can help it.

I like the two blades also. My son and I both shot nice 8 points this year with stinger 2 blades and both bucks dropped within sight. He wasshooting 46 lbs.@ 26".You do have a point about the large body size, but I think either the 2 or 4 would do the job if your shot is placed properly. Good Luck!

at 50 pounds, you want to get all the penetration you can squeeze outta it... there is an old saying among hunters:
"Hole in is for air, Hole out is for blood"
I doubt very much the little bleeder blades on the 4 bld are going to compromise any penetration... But I do sugguest you stick with a 2 blade design like the stingers for ultimate penetration.

RE: Stingers 2 or 4 blade?
I have shot Stingers for a couple years now and feel pretty comfortable in saying that (almost) any shot you get apass through with the 2 blade....you would have gotten the same with the 4 blade..........only you would have a bigger set of holes laying blood down.
The 4 blade heads leave BIG holes and LOTS of blood. The sharpness of Stingers is amazing and with a low KE setup I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how wel they fly and how deep theycut.

I like the four personally. The bleeders are not all that big so penetration problems caused by them should be minimal compared to the additional blood trail left by them.I use the four blades with my longbows and recurves, so if you are using a compound, I'd have no worries.

I have to agree, after using them for 4yrs now (since new out) that either will do. I now use the 4's because they do seem to leave better blood, not that you really need it, as most die in sight.
Suggestion: 4bld.
