Troy, I haven't tried the Stingers, but have used several other Magnus heads & been very pleased. IMO Magnus products are good stuff! And besides, theres always the lifetime warranty...I say give 'em a whirl& let us know how it turns out!
Good luck on the turkeys!

Hello
I haven't tried them yet, but was thinking about it also. I shoot the 2 blade stingers in 125 grain. They seem to be pretty tough and are good shooters. I think magnus is one of those companies that you can rely on for putting out some good quality products.

Troy n Oh,
I'd say you can't go wrong with the Stingers from Magnus. They produce a high quality product and this is another one.
I'm wanting to try a new broadhead myself and it's looking like the Simmons Sharks.
www.simmonssharks.com I haven't decided between the 125gr. or the 160gr., yet.
Good hunting, Bowhunter57

Bowhunter57 I have some of the 190 grain simmons here that I never used. I can't get that curved edge as sharp as I want them to save my life. I have tried stones, files, ceramic sticks, leather, you name it I have rubbed it across there lol. Good luck with them alot of people say how great they are but I aint buyin no special tools just to sharpen a head.

TroynOh,
Thank you for the "hot tip" on sharpening problems with the Sharks. I may stick with the Stingers or Steel Force for the sharpening convenience. I have a double file block that I purchased from 3 Rivers Archery to sharpen 2 or 4 blade broadheads and it doesn't get any easier.
I definately want a 4 blade head and all I was looking for with the Sharks was to cut 'em as bad as possible. However, I must remind myself....shot placement is everything.

I haven't hunted turkeys (yet), so take this for what it's worth. With the poundage you are pulling, I'd go with the one that flies the best and cuts the biggest hole. Penetration won't be a problem, or broadhead durability as far as that goes. A Bodkin will most likely do as well or better that an expensive head on the birds, especilly if you take a head shot. Not knocking Magnus at all, they are great, but the turkey birds shouldn't require the very best to get the job done.

Great Chad, letting out the cheap Bodkin secret. Just joking, but you are absolutely right. A turkey, grouse, rabbit squirrel etc. doesn't require a high quality head. However, I still demand sharpness. Take care.....Tom
