you musta been down in the eastern part of the state gr8atta.
we don't hunt deer w/ dogs up here in the mtns, nor is it legal.

we do, however, sometimes go to family reunions to find dates.

To answer the original question ----- The hotter air in the south carries the noise of the bow faster and gives the deer time to duck / jump the string . If you don't believe me , look it up !
