Business is business..I wouldn't let that make 1 bit of difference. Jeff, to put that aspect into place, Imgaine you play in a scramble with this guy cuz he's a Client. He gets wind that -12 is leading, as the cards are being turned in he tells you: "hey Jeff mark us down for a 3 on eighteen".."you say we made a par..4." He says, "we can win with a 3"..does business change your values? I know the answer

Go if you want to..there probably isn't a season or a license involved... In fact you can probably get a picture of "your" buck in advance.

As for my buddy bawanna...What's your opinion of Veal?????

Now this guy works for ME......but as a GC...I've learned through the years that our subcontractors ARE more important to us...than we are to them. I stand to lose nothing, business-wise, if I don't go. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, here.

He's offering this as a gesture. He won't be offended if I decline. I don't want to pass this off as something I "NEED" to do.

I would at least go. I don't know if I would take a buck though, it would depend on what the environment was like. If it was thousands of acres fenced as many are and the deer were just as wild as the deer you and I normally hunt I may take a buck if I really had to work for it. If it felt like a fenced operation pendeer shootthough I would take a doe or two just to help him with that part and take the opportunity to just observe some great bucks. I would look at the doe shooting in that situation as "interactive grocery shopping". My family slaughters farm raised beef, pork, and lamb every year as a business, and if it was a penned hunt I would see no difference in taking an animal for food, I would not feel right though taking one for trophy.

Heck, even if they are behind a fence I still like to watch big bucks, there is a deer farm that raises deer for making urine scents near my place in PA and every time I am there I drive by slowly and just stare at the monster bucks in that pen, they are still cool to observe.

I don't like veal I don't think its right but I don't eat Susi either.

I have a problem with anyone portraying this as a "hunt", there is no hunting involved.
It embarrassing to listen to some speak as if this is some form of entertainment ,this is exactly what the anti's speak of when trying to end hunting. That we do it for the love of killing . I don't love to kill but it is part of the hunting that I do love.
This is nothing but killing , and I have killeddozens cows & a whole pile of pigs also. I killed them , I didn't hunt them or manage them , I killed them to be eaten .Thats is exactly what this is ,do not be mistaken.[]
