If you plan on fletching the arrows yourself order theshafts either uncut or an inch longer than you want and then have the 1" cut off the nock end. This was recommended by GT and the guy told me he gets his XT Hunters to a straightness as good as the Pro Hunters. That's a $30 diffrence in cost between a dozen shafts for the same performance.

If a few are still off use them for practice.

Either would be a great choice and I have used both!! But I have to say I really love my Maxima's!!!Walt

I have been shooting Goldtips for somewhere around 6 years and have had great luck with them. They are one tough arrow.
