High-Fence opperation in my area!! Please Read!!!

I see where y'all are comin' from, after sleeping on it i have cooled off a bit. I just strongly dislike the high-fence hunts. Thank you for pointing out the diff. points of view and some ways of handlin' it.

I for one think this type of killing hurts us to the Nth degree. What does that kind of BS say to PETA. Oh, I hunt fair chase, but I don't mind JoeBlow down the road operating his "SLAUGHTER FIELD-FOR-FUN". That says a lot to the public, PETA, and our families

This slaughter operation is no different than a cattle operation and I think most people can see that and would not equate it to "hunting" as much as you beleive that they would!
Guaranteed Hunt
Hunt to win!
Call now to book a hunt.
Hunts start in August
Media has a way of blinding people to the truth. Look around at the young people of today and see how they believe everything they read and see. It is just another lie to the public that "this is what "hunting" is all about. Yes, I do believe the seasoned hunters of this world know the difference, but it is the next generation that needs to be taught the difference by us and not some lame form of media that promotes this type of so called hunting.

I find it strange that guys around here get so worked up about high fence. I believe that the only reason you guys care is because the guy that pays to shoot a buck has a mount with a bigger rack than yours. So now you can't be happy with the one you have because you need one bigger than that guy.
If you are a horn hunter you have to compete against yourself. If you are going to sit there and hem and haw about deer being killed for money or whatever then stop buying store bought food.
Do you really want to stop high fence hunting? Here's how! As a collective group stop hunting for horns, don't mount your deer and don't talk about racks!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck

I'm going to find one with a growth hanging out the side (non-typical) to top your larger morrel.

Ye we have a similar matter going on across the river from our property in Neillsville WI. From what I have heard is the owner of the local pro shop in town, who happens to be the mayors son, is supposed to be locking his leased land down after he buys it and is supposed to be putting up a high fence and charge for hunts. Im totally against this as well as many other neighbors. A few years back we shot a possible county possibly state record buck off our land, it crossed the river went ontoa good friends lease and wegot permission to to track across hisand find it.I found the last spot of blood on the land right at the fencethat the pro shop owner leases. Sowe packed up and headed back to thefarm, gave him a call and he refused to let anyone in there at all, not even if there were no weapons. The buck was never retrieved by us but is probably sitting on his wall. Ohh this gets better. After i had bought some arrows from him last year, I had heard from my wifes cousin who heard it from a friend of the pro-shop owner, that he was recently on the land with the pro-shop owner and apparently he has several huge activebunker feeders on the property for the deer. This is illegal in Wi. it seems he has so much pull as hes the mayors son. I will not step foot in his shop ever again after hearing about the feeders. The down fall of it is now the closest pro shop is 25 miles away, but I do have one right across from where I work. I am strongly thinking about giving the DNR an anomous tip about the bunker feeders on his property. Do you think I should?

I agree with the guys who say that 600 acres isnt crap for a fenced in operation, because its not.If my memory serves me right, Keith Warren did a TV show at that place either last year or the year before. I only rememberbecause its not too far from here. One of the biggest bucks i have seen taken on TV. Too bad he saw himEVERY DAY fora week before he got him....with a rifle or muzzleloader.

LT has it exactly right but, it's not just the next generation that is blindly lead away from the truth. It's the everydaynon-hunting man or woman.
In the public arena, these kind of places are represented as the normal American hunt, which we all know it's not but most people dont!
All fenced, tame deer shoots are very bad for all of us, and threaten the future of all hunting in America. Wake up and stop making excuses for these idiots!!! Send them an email and speak your mind.
