Default RE: Tribute or Allegiance?

archer58,
Two things that worked for me. First the Binary cam with the Fast/Smooth mod option. I tested and really liked the draw cycle on that cam and like the option of popping on a fast mod for Early September moose hunting when I'm looking for all the juice I can get and then put in the smooth mod for late season treestand hunting for deer on snow.
The second thing was the weight and style of the riser. I had an Equalizer last year which is really the same bow with different cams and I really liked the light weight ( 3.8 lbs ) and 33" ata.
The Black Ice and Tribute are basically the same bows with one being a single cam and the other a Binary cam. Both are great bows but if I had one of those I would be buying something different and the Ally would be a great second choice. A little longer ATA, faster and lighter weight. Actually next year if finances allow it I would like to buy a second bow ( nice to have a backup ) and I would likely buy a single cam like a Diamond myself.
