Default Blazer Vanes Clearance Issues

Im having a heck of a time getting complete clearance for my blazer vanes not only from my drop away but also from my cables, its an awfully tight sqeeze to clear the two. Im thinking about going and trying some predator vanes, they are a little lower profile and should do the trick. I was wondering if anyone has tried them and what they thought. Do they steer a broadhead as well as the blazers?

I had an awful time gettin them out of my QAD rest so i took off the top full enclosure bar and they worked good. i couldnt get them to fly right though so i put duravanes on and put the bar back on and they are flyin good.

I have to turn them just right to clear my drop away and my cables on my Allegiance. I shoot them cock vane up/slightly in toward the bow. That places the inner vane at a downward turn away from my cables. With that being done, I have Muzzy's, Snypers and field tips all grouping together, all shooting great out to 50 yards. ( the furthest I've shot them).

The higher profile Blazers do give you some clearance issues depending however, that is also (along with stiffness) what gives them the stabilization that they do. I'm impressed with them.

Good luck in your decision passthru79.
