I have allready put a post on here but afterwards a thought came to mind. What bothers me about deer getting hit by cars is no one stops to make sure they are actually dead.My husband was coming home from work and found one still alive. He didn't have anything with him so he had to wait 45 min. for a patrol man to come and put it out of it's misery.
The last one we found we were coming home from up north. My husband was hunting with his grandpa so this time he was prepared. The doe was laying in the middle of the road and I held the flashlight so my husband could check to see if it was alive. She was and he drug off the road shot her, took us home and picked up his truck and went back for her. Both times we got a tag for them so they didn't "go to waste"
I don't think people care about the danger they put others in when they just leave a deer in the middle of the road. That is what probably bothers me the most. At least hunters aren't just leaving deer, they put the deer to good use.
