If you could change the way P&Y scored deer would you change anything? Such as doing away with net scores, not adding inside spread (A meaurement of air), eliminating the drying period,etc, etc, Or would you leave it the same?

Id personaly like to see it stay the same, the only thing i dont like is seeing a very high gross scoring animal not get recognition because it had lots of deductions. but having deductions lets you see how semetrical the animal was just by looking at the score.

Why change it? If you want to use gross scoring, go to SCI instead. Besides, SCI does more for the sport with the money they take in than P&Y anyway.

I think deductions are the dumbest concept in the P&Y scoring system.

We just went through this in Jan and it got a bit out of hand.
