Default Broadhead Question...

Hopefully you guys and gals can help me,
I am looking at getting my friend some broadheads as a gift, but am not too educated on bowhunting and don't know what kind/ grain to get. I saw that he has Carbon Express 6075 arrows which I believe he hunts with. He has a Browing Rage bow set at 56 lbs draw. The arrows are 30 inches. If you could suggest a broadhead for deer hunting and what grain to get I would really appreciate it as I don't know too much about bowhunting. Thanks!

First let me say, welcome to the Forums!

Now, I think there are too many variables in answering your question ... what grain does he prefer to shoot? Does he like Fixed or Mechanical heads ... ya might wanna try and find out with a few curious questions .....

I'll second the G5 strikers...best head out right now and replaceable blades.

Why not just ask him what kind of broadheads he shoots (out of curiosity) and then you know what he likes and will use.

That way you know for sure you are getting the ones he wants.

ok... thanks. I like the suggestions; does the grain make a big difference, or should I ask him?
