Almost a climbing misshapp
This weekend I went to the woods to remove a couple of my stands. We recently had some freezing rain and cold temps.I had my full body harness on as well as my climbing system, when I got up around 15-20' one of my feet slipped off theclimbing sticks.Fortunately I was clipped in and my prusic knot was above my head.I'm really happy with this way I have started climbing this season,it's really aslick way.I'm a lineman by trade and through the years climbing many iced up poles in ice storms. We generally knock ice off with our hammers as we climb a pole, and try to gaff into the icy side of the pole, rather than run our safty belt around the icy side.Huntingout of tree stands is a different bird altogether.I thought I would share with you guys.Be carfull out there.

True ducsauce, drawing the bow might be a little tough though, every now and again while up in the air I'll visualize yardages and what it would be like to hunt from 30' or better. It would be difficult to hit the back lung of a deer unless I aimed super low.
