Default Allegiance serving seperation...?

I was just admiring my bow when I noticed that the serving around both the top and bottom cams is seperating. Should I be worried about this? The bow is only a couple weeks old and I hadn't been planning on purchasing custom strings for it. However, if this is going to cause problems I may as well go ahead and order a new set.

What do you folks think?

Yea, that's not supposed to happen. It's always a good idea to get a set of gibblet strings anyway.

Its a little disapointing to be running into problems already, but I'd rather it happen while I have the money to get it handled than when I'm flat broke.

I definitely had Gibblet in mind when I started the thread, MO.

That's a pretty poor serving job if it seperated there. It's not a very sharp corner. It's more common when you draw back and the serving seperates where it bottoms out on the module but seperating around the cam shouldn't be happeneing. I wonder if they will take care of you since strings and cables aren't covered under warranty.

Honestly I don't think I'm even going to worry about bothering Bowtech about it. Chances are I would have eventually purchased a set of custom strings for it anyhow, I just hadn't intended to for awhile is all.

I may send them an email to let them know it happened, but I won't expect them to do anything about it.

While I'm not saying it's ideal, I've had strings do that and have still shot them for a couple more years with no problem.

Only reason I'm really worried at all Greg is because I had the string on my Martin snap in the same place. I hadn't noticed if the serving was seperated there before it happened, but I hadn't looked for it specifically either.

I'd just hate to see the same thing happen to this bow.

I don't think I'd want to see a string snap on ANY bow... []
