Ideally, you want to match the size of the view through the opening of you peep to the size of the ring on your bow sights so you can easily center the front ring in your peep. Also, for hunting, you want to stay with a larger peep opening, which allows better visibility during low light conditions. Make sure you get one that fits at an angle in the string, so it points toward your sights at full draw. Finally, you will need to decide of you need to worry about the string rotating, which will effect alignment. If you think string rotation might be problem, get a peep with the rubber tubing to align it at full draw. If that isn't a concern for you, then you might try something like the Super Deuce 45 in 3/16" by Radical Archery Designs. It's what I will be putting on my Switchback XT when it arrives next week. It's an aluminum peep that mounts in the string at a 45 degree angle.
