Hello I am new to using a compound bow I own a browning rage I have a string peep my question is should you see all your pins in the peep when sighting
Also how far down should I set my peep or is that determined by my sighting

RE: peep sights
Your peep should be adjusted where you consistantly anchor.....a comfortable anchor. As for seeing all you pins, that would be dependent on the size of the hole in the peep.Target peeps have much smaller peeps (less error) than typical hunting peeps. I used to drill my small ones out, now I just buy bigger ones (more light, and can see the animal behind pins. I have a circular sight, and the view ofmy peep lies flush with the outer ring of my sight, so all pins are well within view on mine. Good luck.....much of what you ask is personal preference.

4buck pretty much nailed it. I prefer to be able to see all of my pins through my hunting peep. The larger aperture allows more light to reach your eye thus producing a brighter image. My peep is typically large enough to allow me to see the entire pin guard and all the pins.
