I switched to Blazers shortly after refletched my first carbon arrow.
When I shot XX78's I'd refletch whenever the feathers looked real ratty... Scrape, scrape, and 5 minutes in the AZ E-Z Fletch and I was good for another 100 shots or so.

I have been shooting the same vanes for two years that came on my carbon express arrows and have not had one promlem with tearing or waviness, but im going to try the blazers after the season just because i like trying different do- dads. I have never tried feathers thru a WB though.

Your WB shouldnt be chewing up your feathers that bad. Over time you will some noticble wear and tear on your feathers but it shouldnt be right away. If your feathers are starting to get eaten up I would check the tuning of your WB. I have had a WB on my bow since they came out and am still shooting some of the first arrows through it still, there is some wear and tear on them but they still look good and shoudlnt need changing for atleast another year and I shoot alot. Some of my arrows have more than 500 shots through the WB. Check your tuning and make sure you see a little light around the upper part of the insert above the arrow. You may be shooting the wrong wrest.

Schobs, you'll get waveyness even with vanes. They say Blazers don't get affectedthough.

Why use a w.b. when you can have a drop rest and an arrow holder(little rubber thingey glued on so it holds the arrow while the bow is hanging.I had trouble till i got rid of my wb. Lovin life now!
