HuntingGUS,
Yes, I was being sarcastic. Here is why;
I think your comment was/is ignorant, and it annoyed me. If you don’t try to shoot a deer through the shoulders with a bow, why would you with a rifle? You can get pretty picky about your shots when carrying a rifle. But you for some reason ruin a bunch of meat when you carry one, and referred to it as “minced meat”. I don’t get it, well I guess I do. I think it is you who doesn’t get it. You will find any excuse you can to defend bow hunting, which is fine. It only presents a problem (to me by the way) when you do it so adamantly that you attempt to defy logic and rational thinking.
KP.........Your comments continue to annoy me, but rather than tip-toeing around with sarcasm, I'll tell you this.
[ol][*]I am not a Bow only elitest! Don't pretent to know my intentions.[*]I shoot deer in the kill zone (behind the shoulder)[*]Sometimes the shoulder gets hit with bow and with gun[*]With a gun the shoulder turns into minced meat when "I" shoot them.....more than it does with a bow.....understand now?[/ol]
If you have been offended by any of my posts............I appolgize. I was not talking about you personally, I was simply stating my experiences.

ORIGINAL: HuntinGUS

I learned that if venison is the goal, bow hunting, due to the amount of time you have to wait after the shot, along with warmer temperatures is a less than favorable weapon to choose in accomplishing this task, sorry...
The flip sideof this is all of the damage a rifle or shotgunround will do to the deer vs a broadhead. I never get the shoulders from my deer shot with a gun (minced meat)

I always get more meat from my bow kills.

Here is what you said, and only a short time ago. It contradicts what you're saying now. According to your most recent post, more over #3 the shoulder only "sometimes" gets hit with "both" weapons, but in the post above, you "always" get more meat from you bow kills, and you "never" get the shoulders from a deer you've shot from a gun.

But I'm done listening to you,not becauseI can't help but "pretend to know your intentions", but I don't care to have to try to figure out whether you're being honest, dishonest or just egsadurating. That compounded with the fact that you made an ignorant statement leads me and my intentions elsewhere... I have nothing to learn from you, so good day sir!
Respectfully,
KP

I learned you greatly improve your chances of killing a deer when you remember to take your quiver with the arrows in it.

Okay, you're right. Since you had it happen twice, I'll take back everything I've ever said or thought on this subject...

NOT!
