This pic has gotten alot of miles on it since I took it last year, Oct 15

My first deer kill was a spike with about 3 1/2 inch spikes on both sides. I was 13 at the time and so nervous my uncle had to do the gutting due to his fear of me cutting myself. I can still remember the day stumbling over to my uncle's stand and mumbling to him that I shot a buck. Great times.

My first deer was with my 30.06, a big old doe with my dad sitting in the stand right next to me. I still have a picture of me and that deer onmy desk. I have yet to connect w/ a deer w/ my bow.

First deer ever was with a shotgun: 140lbs field dressed, 5pt basket rack
With a bow I got one the first time out it was a button heart shot at 34yds
With a rifle it was a spike that dressed at 170, that one was special cause my buddy took his first deer with a shotgun and it was a typical 8pt that field dressed at 263lbs, we were only on stans for 1 1/2 hrs in a place neither of us had hunted before.

Mine was a spike.

My first (deer) buck with a bow was a small racked, big bodied 6 pt.

6 point with the bow. I practiced out to 40 yards nearly every day all summer. Shot him at 39 yards.

my first one was a 130 lb doe. 2 weeks later i shot a 6 pt buck and then 2 weeks after that i shot an 11 pointer....this was all this year beginners luck

My first was a doe as well, I took my first buck when I was 18 with a 30-30. It was a 6 pt. Nothing special but it was to me.
