Lots of good choices out there.
Go check out several brands and then decide

I have a Mathews Switchback
Very nice bow

I am also looking at a new Ross bow.

Depending on your budget and wants I would look at
Mathews
Ross
Bowtech
PSE
Ben Pearson
Martin

My first bow was a Bear Whitetail II I got from Walmart for 99.00!
I then upgraded to a Golden Eagle I bought 2nd hand
Then I got a Mathews FX
I now shoot a Mathews Switchback

Just depends on if you want a bow to start out with and then possibly upgrade later, kind of "test the water" so to speak
Or
if you want to dive right in and buy a top of the line brand and model.

get something with at least a 7" brace height because they are more forgiving.
