There were no deer in site at all when I growled at 420 or so. At 430 him and onebigger rackedbuck came running, 11-14 points but he figured something was up and stayed back in the brushbehind me.

Great looking buck. Did you use the call without seeing deer or after you saw them? What I have read is that you can use it basically blind.
