Vikesfan, thats it!! Corian. Man I couldn't remember that for the life of me. Thanks. I see by your username that you are a Viking fan also. I have been one since I was old enough to know what NFL footbal was. I still have my old Cller, Page and Foreman posters that I had on the bedroom wall when I was a kid. I have one section of my finished basement decorated with all my Vikings memorabilia. We live in NW Ohio, and have gone to Detroit to see the Vikes play 5 times in the past. I have always told my wife that someday I would love to see them play at home in the dome and be among a stadium full of purple bleeders. Well, 2 years ago my wife and daughter made my dream come true. My 40th birthday present was 3 tickets to see the Vikes play the Titans at home on my actual birthday ( Oct. 24th) and a long weekend in Minnesota. Man it was great. We won the game 27-6, making a perfect birthday!!
Man I hope we quit beating ourselves the way have the past few weeks. The turnovers and especially the penalties are killing us. And I am tired of Fred Smoot playing so crappy. He sure has been a free agent bust in my opinion. Hopefully Childress will get them a little more disciplined and cut out all the stupid penalties. We should have beaten the Bears, and shoule have never let the Bills pass all over us the way they did. Hope for the best. Maybe tomorrow we will turn it around. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket so I get to see them every week. That is one of the greatest things ever created. I have had it since the first year and will have it as long as it exists. GO VIKES!!!

You should only use wood cutting boards for vegetables. Use plastic for meats. Wood will absorb bacteria and be dang near impossible to get rid of it all with cleaning. Even bleach won't get down there and get it all out without ruining the board.

I just found a good web site that sells plastic cutting boards...US plastic corp. A 24" by 18" by 1/2"cutting board for $23. Might as well get it from them. Thanks all!

Go somewhere where they are building new homes . Talk to the builder and see if he will give you the piece that gets cut out of a countertop where the sink goes . It's about 20" X 31" (they vary) and works great . I clamp mine to one of the Black & Decker Table Mates and it works like a charm ! I also drilled holes in it so I can bolt down my grinder !

I was looking for a cutting board last year and I settled for one of those plastic folding tables like they have at seminars. Mine is about 4' x 6' and cost $40 from Target. It is easy to clean. You can cut into it and it is fine. We butchered 2 deer on it last year.
