I have heard about this home made scent killer but does anyone know f it will really work? Just seems like a whole bunch of trouble when you can buy it in a store. I buy the combo pack of Scent Killer with the big bottle and the field bottle for like $12. I've had several deer within 25 yards with the wind blowing in their face and was never detected. Never had a problem with it and it usually lasts the majority of the season.

i have a batch brewing right now. its not a lot of trouble. get a bucket, mix ingredients, let sit a few days then bottle. it is cost me under $4.00 for a gallons worth. Granted i don't need a gallon so i'll share with my friends.

I made a batch last night also. It's easy to make but the hardest part is finding the scent free shampoo. The baking soda hasn't all dissolved - I wonder if I put too much in there.
