1 gallon distilled water, two shots scentless shampoo, 16oz peroxide, 4oz baking soda. go to a dollar general. you can make about several gallons of this stuff for under five bucks. I compared the smell of it to the store bought stuff, and boy o boy do they smell alike.

Here is a link to the whole kit and cabbodle
http://www.fastestbows.com/articles/corrigan/scent_elimination_sprays.html

Important note outlined there...the brown botle peroxide has a scent added (you know if you;ve ever used it) and shouldn't be used.

ALSO TAKE CLIPPINGS FROM VARIOUS VEGITATION FROM THE FOREST YOU WILL BE HUNTING IN, AND PLACE IT IN A CLOTH BAG. PLACE IT IN THE DRYER WITH YOUR HUNTING CLOTHES TO PROVIDE SOME COVER SCENT. MAKE SURE THE CLOTH BAG IS A FINE MATERIAL AND WELL SEALED ON THE END SO YOU DON'T SEND PINE NEEDES THROUGH YOUR DRYER SYSTEM.

Same here. I am going to give one of those recipes a try as it has to be more cost effective than just buying the commercial stuff.

Hoyt3,

You peaked my interest at the end of your post. They smell alike? If it smells the deer can
smell it?
