Anybody familiar with these stands?Versatility of a climber and stability of a ladder stand. It looks pretty cool. But, looks can be deceiving.

Never used one but getting from the ladder to the platform looks like it could be a little tricky. I don't like tricky at 15'.

Also looks like it might not work to well on crooked trees.

Like anything else does ?

It looks like a pretty good idea to me , I've never gotten myself to trust a climber , and since I hunt publics about as often as private land hanging lock ons isn't an option .

I had a buddy that bought one of these used it once and returned it because of the way the telescoping peices locked together, the "locks" were flimsy plastic he said and thought it was " a mickey mouse job of engineering" when he took it back to bass pro and showed the manager they actually pulled them all of the shelves for a while and said they would contact the company

Looks heavy too.
