Default API Telescoping treestand

I have been checking this stand out for awhile and wondered if anyone had one and what they thought of it. I usually use ladder stands so this looks pretty cool. You can adjust height and weight is next to nothing for packing around.

I have been eyeballing this one as well,I think it might be the perfect stand.

Now if that check from the government will just get here so I can go get one.

Of course the wife might have something to say about that.[]

I too have been interested in this stand. Looks perfect but... I think you will need a really straight tree for it to work as the ladder needs to hug the tree and the platform falls where it may, unlike traditional ladders where you place the platform level on the tree & then secure the ladder to the tree with a stabilzer bar, so does a crooked tree mean a crooked platform? or is there a way to adjust the attitude of the platform once it has been secured to the tree. Anyone know if this is a feature of this stand?

I' ve been looking at this stand too. I think it would be perfect for where I hunt on public land. I want to take my son or daughter with me. I was thinking that I could carry it in while my child carried my 10 lb. hang-on stand in. A 2 person ladderstand would just be to heavy and bulky.

I had not heard that. Did they go completely out or did someone buy them out?
