Flip, if you'll PM me I'll send you a couple different mechanicals that you can test out and see how you like them.
As for the golf talk, if you remember correctly when Tiger started he played Cobra Irons that were blades, when Nike offered him the contract, part of the deal was that Nike would develop a Form Forged blade iron. Only at that point did Tiger switch to Nike. And it's strange how similar his Nike irons were to his King Cobra's.

monster10rackstack,
I previously posted what happend with the Teken II with me. It is a slide head. I moved to this head because I had an issue with the flip head expadables. I shot a does last year with it and the Teken did not open up. Lucky I shot her at 10 yards through the hart. But it was in the snow and there was no blook trail at all and she died at 40 yards. I can't emagine what would have happend if it was a big guy and I one lunged him, or any kind of deer for that matter.
Im not against these expadables just to be against them. I thought they were the best next thing. I shot these head for years an had issues with both kinds of expadables and I just don't want to see people go through the same thing. Take it for what its worth I guess. Why not use a good fixedhead that flies like a field tip.I wish I new that 10 years ago, but I learned the hard way.

If you'll rememebr correctly......Tiger played MIZUNO irons when he was an amateur. He then switched to Titleist......which EXACTLY copied the Mizunos......then switched to the Nike ball......then switched to the Nike irons.....when they EXACTLY copied everything else that had been copied before.

I agree. I ama fond believer that any quality broad head will do the job if used properly. Thats why I only use mechanicals with my wheel bows. I wouldnt think of using them with my trad bows. I also believe any broad head will fail you if your bow and arrow is not tunned. I agree, most people feel a mechanical will solve their tunning problems. It wont. Just like anyother tool, broadheads must be used properly for success.
Punchcutter,,, Lol. My brother thought they were the next best thing. I never used one, but my brother did. I stuck with my bear two blades. Besides, I was hunting with my old Herters recurve in those days, and didnt even want to try them.

Agian, personal preference. When I started, over 25+ years ago, two blade was about it with a few three blade configurations. Ive used them all, Muzzy three blade and four blade, as well as first cut and bear two blades. I think they all work equally well. I use slick tricks, Muzzy, and Sonics with my recurves. All in three blades. Simply because that is what I have alway used. It has nothing to do with the 4 blades performance. They worked great as well. The only thing ive come to really like with a fixed is a true cut on contact, like with the sonic. Other than that, not much difference when all are tunned correctly.
