I equate it to what people are comfortable with. Just like rests, arrows,and bows, you will never get a straight, conclusive answer about which is best. Some people do not like mechanicals simply because the do not like change. It took me a long time to switch due to this. Others hear of problems with them, and jump on the band wagon. Im kinda guilty of this mentality. I will never use thunderheads ever agian. I have had more problems with them than any other head, yet others love them. Its all in personal preference, pluse what you are hunting, as well as your equipment. I have seen tuns of pissing contests on how great mechanicals are, and how bad they are. Every archery sight will have a hundred post thread on the pros and cons. Its about 50-50. Half love them, half hate them.
