I don't plan on bothering with them, but if the thought was that genetics payed a part in having two deer like this, I would let my nephew shoot em. Thanks.

I wouldn't jump to a bad genetics theory at all. Just looks like a couple young bucks that are only 1.5 yr olds. They will get bigger. Relax and don't worry about it.

doesnt look like a very old deer...maybe his children follow the same genetic line, as far as starting as a spike, lack of nutrition will do that. I'd make sure it was the same deer as the previous year before you take him out.

Oh, I don't plan on shooting him. I have my eyes set on three others. Just wanting some input. I could see staring out as a spike, but spike on one side, something much shorter/messed up, on the other side just seemed odd.Thanks for the input.
