Hey all, i took my girlfriend up north to camp at our cabin. Well I keep food in the feeder (dont cut my b@lls off, i know its illegal in PA right now) but it is also illegal to hunt on posted property (which ours is) and it is illegal to hunt within so many yards of a full feeder. And I dont want anyone hunting the area untill we get a decent number of deer up there. Well anyhoo, we were sitting at the camp fire (NO LIE) 20yds from the feederand my trail camera by the feeder went off and kept going off for a couple of hours and this is what we saw.... they hung around the whole time and we were talking and carrying on and it didnt seem to bother them...i was so pumped. They eventually got chased off by 5 racoons. They came back in the morning and kept eating.

I'm not planning on hunting the area for a couple of years because the deer population is really hurting up there....im just happy to see some deer, racks or not...

nutter good luck on creating a good dear population up there. Awsome pic, looks like your off to a good start of creating an ideal hunting area for the future.

At least one button there and I'd bet like him, the other is too...thus future booners.

And it's not illegal to have corn out there right now, it's just illegal to hunt a certain distance near it.

What kind of feeder do you have rigged up there? I never seen anything like that.

Guys, that's just a cable spool from a utility company with wire mesh around it to hold corn. You'll see them all over this part of the country.[&:]
