Thats the way to do it, shoot them all and decide for yourself. Enjoy

Very nice write up and great choice. I have the equalizer and am looking at the Allegiance or Tribute. Need to sell my parker 1st.

todays bows are all very nice pieces of equipment. all companies have to keep upgrading and perfecting there bows to stay competative, its all personal opinion i shot all them and fell in love with trykon, glad you shot and bought the bow that you liked and didn't listen to sales pitches.

I am going to do the same. I like Mathews bows, but, if I am going to spend that kind of money,I want to get the best bow for me. Glad to hear your results. I too, want to test those same bows, and make an honest opinion for myself.

Thank you.
I looked at the allegiance too. The guy at the proshop recommended the tribute for hunting applications. A bit more foregiving and it is shorter.
Good luck with whichever you pick.

Just a side note.....when I tested the bows I had my wife hand them to me so that I would not be biased. The Hoyt was obvious but otherwise I didn't know what I was holding. I tried not to look at it but just focus on the feel.
