todays bows are all very nice pieces of equipment. all companies have to keep upgrading and perfecting there bows to stay competative,its all personal opinion i shot all them and fell in love with trykon, glad you shot and bought the bow that you liked and didn't listen to sales pitches.

I am going to do the same. I like Mathews bows, but, if I am going to spend that kind of money,I want to get the best bow for me. Glad to hear your results. I too, want to test those same bows, and make an honest opinion for myself.

I looked at the allegiance too. The guy at the proshop recommended the tribute for hunting applications. A bit more foregiving and it is shorter.

Just a side note.....when I tested the bows I had my wife hand them to me so that I would not be biased. The Hoyt was obvious but otherwise I didn't know what I was holding. I tried not to look at it but just focus on the feel.
