stand hunters!!

I carry about 5 of those el-cheapo rubber hooks in my daypack at all times. I hang stuff everywhere - camera, grunt call, high power bino's, quiver, backpack, bow, etc... Most of the stuff I never even use, but I like to keep it handy.
I hold my bow on my lap most of the day, but if I'm set up with a branch, limb or treetrunk in front of me, then I'm not afraid to hang it up. I don't worry about a little movement too much, b/c I hunt pretty high off the ground, and my stands are usually placed in some cover.

In reply to how I made mine.......basically I just 1/2" square tubing, drilled 1/4" holes and used bolts and plastic washers at the joint(so they don't squeak) on the bow holder end I drilled another horizontal hole and put a 4" bolt through that and put shrink tubing over that so it didn't make any noise and scratch the bow. On the end that goes into the tree I just boughtextra large screwsand cut the heads off. then I slid the bolt in about an inch and welded it in place. Primed and painted.....I also took some fairly heavey wire and wrapped it near the base leaveing a hook on each side for hanging a grunt call and rangefinder.
Good Luck!
