I think the only people who get slammed in this forum, are the people who exercise poor hunting ethics. Otherwise everyone tries to help and keep things positive.

Matt, you need to run for president, you got my vote. I was surprised that I did not see &quot;MODERATOR&quot; by your name, very well said. I am not sure what perticular slamming Hunter4life is referring to but as stated previously, if you come on here and boost about how many deer you wounded in a days hunt, and are a slob hunter with no ethics and no respect for wildlife or the law, you will be serverly repremanded on here just as you would be if you were standing along a camp fire with us after a days hunt. This board is no different than the real world, and some people lack diplomacy and maybe maturity in some of there responses, but if you get a rude response why not take it up with the individual whom make have ticked you off. I believe that the more educated and mature that you become, you can let a lot of it roll off your shoulders and I suggest that you take it up with individual(s), but don't accuse the entire board. Being on this board is like being that of a gunfighter, theirs always someone better. Its a great priviledge in comeing here and have the library of knowledge at your finger tips. I wouldn't take it too serious about gettin those feathers ruffled. I am the type person that if I write it here, I would say the same thing to you in person.

Interesting topic, but unfortunately any of the good points will be shortly forgotten or never seen by the vast majority of posters. Emotions will take over on many answers, forum rules of etiquette will be forgotten and people will write from the heart, instead of the mind, and sometimes the person's heart isn't a very good one. Thank goodness it is a well moderated board.
