IM SICK OF SOME OF YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!
I am really sick and tired of people coming here and posting because they need help and then they get chewed out!!Its like some of you pathetic people are on here just to point out the negatives in people's post. If you guys are only going to yell at people when they post then leave. this is the bowhunting forum not the point out the negatives forum!

I agree with you for the most part...and think that alot of it has to do not with what is said, but how it is said...or typed. I pretty much read the posts regarding help and only reply if I think there is something I can offer that hasn't already been mentioned.
One thing to consider though is that many times, the one asking the question is new to bowhunting and it is quite possible that they may not know or realize they have made a mistake.....while I don't agree with blatanly chastizing people who are sincerely looking for help, I think we owe it to our sport and quarry to point things out.
I know when I started out in bowhunting, I had no one I could turn to with questions...and therefore, didn't really understand the dynamics of bowhunting. I'm sure if I had a website such as this when starting out, I would have asked questions...taken my lumps and moved on with a damaged ego...but a better bowhunter.

Well, this topic really doesn't belong here, but then again it does. It is not bowhunting related, but I agree this board is growing and changing. As more people join we tend to get more that are looking for confrontation. It is sad really. The boards are for fun, and education, and sometimes I think we all need a reminder that not everyone has years of experience and at one time or another all of us will need some help.

Look - I have been coming to these forums for awhile now, a long while, granted, I dont post often, only when I need help, or can help, but alot of what you are complaining about, the negatives of the post, need to be brought to the attention of the post'er... And well sometimes it starts a onfrontation, and sometimes it doesnt, some people are immature enough to try and start confrontation, and some of us arent. IGNORE IT! Some people are just so passionate in the things they do. Some people spend hours and hours preparing for their hunt. Some people go to the local Mart and buy their bow. Some people spend hours in the Tech areas of this board. Heck, some guys shoot as many different broadheads as they can just so they can pass the knowledge onto us.
We're a very large, mixed group of people. Not everyone can see eye to eye. One of the best pieces of advice I've ever received is this - Surround yourself with people who know more than you. You get that here. Sure, there are some mean people and there are some jerks, but overall, there's a lot of good people.
My advice to you. Watch how you write. Reread what you wrote. We can't see your face or gauge your body language so all we can do is read and assume. If you post that you lost your deer after a 60 yard shot with Mom's bow with a 3" mech head pulling 40lbs, you're going to get slammed. Take your licks and learn. This board will teach you more than you think...

Look at it from the other side, where you got guys on here who've busted thier butts and take things rather seriously when it comes to bowhunting. We sit here and read about some yahoo making the most basic of mistakes, that someitmes has nothing to do with hunting rather than common sense, and we should get a bit mad. It is the passion for our sport that drives us. People have to realize they aren't going to get the sugar coated answer they want to hear everytime they post a question. Most rookies don't realize shooting the deer is the easiest thing they will do when bowhunting. Tracking and finding the thing is often much more difficult. Unfortunately that is where the most inexperience lies. People got to lighten up on both ends, some guys may need to back off a hair, while the other guys got to understand things ain't always sugar coated.
