I did last year but only saw does and young bucks during daylight. Got pics of a few nice ones after dark. That is how they get to be nice ones. I will try again thjs year.

I remember somewhere about 20 years ago I met Gene Wensel at a Classic Whitetails show. We were taliking about stuff and I said "Gene, what do think of licking branches?" He looked at me and said " I hate it!! Ttied it once and got a buch of splinters in my tounge!"
I about lost it. He was funny. I bought his book One Man's Whitetail, and he had that in his book also. Everytime I see something about licking branches I think of that.
