I remember somewhere about 20 years ago I met Gene Wensel at a Classic Whitetails show. We were taliking about stuff and I said "Gene, what do think of licking branches?" He looked at me and said " I hate it!! Ttied it once and got a buch of splinters in my tounge!"I about lost it. He was funny. I bought his book One Man's Whitetail, and he had that in his book also. Everytime I see something about licking branches I think of that.
